Janelle practices criminal, constitutional, and regulatory litigation at both trial and appellate levels of court. She represents individuals at every stage of criminal proceedings, including bail, sentencing and on appeal.
Janelle attended Osgoode Hall Law School, where she focused her studies on criminal and constitutional law. During her studies, she participated in the Criminal Law Intensive Program, worked on a constitutional challenge to Canada’s sex work laws at the Supreme Court of Canada, and defended a constitutional challenge to municipal bylaws regulating body rub parlours on appeal.
After receiving her J.D. in 2015, Janelle articled at DSF Litigation where she worked on large complex cases, including homicide trials, appeals, and re-trials.
Janelle practices thoughout the Greater Toronto Area, including Hamilton, Halton, North York, and Newmarket.
